• There is no airport tax on leaving Bali any longer.

• Please notify us of your flight details when you have made your bookings

• Penestanan is a 1 hour taxi ride from Denpasar airport. We will organize your airport pick up direct to Melati. In the event of any last minute changes, please email us and/or call Melati to notify us on +62 361 974650. We will be there a few days prior to the retreat starting.

• Cash can be easily exchanged at reputable money changers or you can withdraw from ATM’s. Cash is the cheapest way to access money in Indonesia. Credit cards are not widely accepted in shops and restaurants but can be used to withdraw money from ATM’s

• Melati has a safety deposit service where you can keep valuables during your stay.

• Yoga mat, (we will supply bolsters) and any other yoga accessories you may require.

• It will be hot so bring loose clothing for yoga (or arrive a few days early and go shopping in Ubud!)

• Bring one good set of (cool) clothes for evening wear, we will have dinner together on the final evening of the retreat.

• Wide brimmed hat, sunglasses, reusable water bottle, sunscreen.

• A shawl is nice to throw over you during meditation and relaxation practices and also serves as protection from mozzies

• Melati cottages has good quality, free wifi in reception and shared spaces. Most accommodation, restaurants and cafes around Bali also provide free WiFi, so if you use Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp  or something similar you will be able to contact family/friends.

• Please see your GP for vaccines prior to travel

• If you play a musical instrument you may wish to bring it along and join in the music! Please do!!
